This match was played between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Mumbai Indians needed 80 runs off the last four over with Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard in the crease. It resulted in an excellent exhibition of power hitting as Mumbai managed to tie the score but lost the game in super over.
6. Two super over
This match between Mumbai Indians and Kings XI Punjab went on to be the replay of the 2019 world cup final with two super over in the same match. Astonishingly, it was again a New Zealander in pacer Trent Bolt who failed to see his team off the winning line.
7. The Universe Boss
Chris Gayle made his presence felt in style smashing a half-century batting at number 3. He guided his team Kings XI Punjab to a rocking eight-wicket victory against Royal Challengers Bangalore.
8. No. 7 in demand
The moment it became clear that Chennai Super Kings is not going to make it to the playoffs nostalgia dripped in as the tournament could be the last IPL of skipper MS Dhoni. Thus, his jersey was in high demand. Pandya brothers and Joss butler were happy to get one and posed with it.

2. Dhoni smacks 51 runs from just 20 balls
This inning was a classic cameo from MS Dhoni. He came into bat when Chennai Super Kings were struggling and was staring at a below-par score. However, MS Dhoni helped his team to pose a competitive 187 hitting 51 out of 20 balls. Eventually, his team won the match.
3. Ganguly’s Celebration
This is one of the magic moments in the history of the IPL where Sourav Ganguly clean bowled Kevin Pietersen with his first delivery in the tournament. A timeless moment indeed.
4. De Villers 47 of 17 balls
This match was played between RCB i.e. Royal Challengers Bangalore and Deccan Chargers. Batting for RCB, he scored 47 runs from 17 balls and helped his team to post a competitive total of 181 runs.
5. Rajasthan Chased Down 217
It was the very first edition of the IPL and Rajasthan Royals successfully chased down 214 runs with a single ball to spare thereby defeating Deccan Chargers.
6. Dwayne Smith scoring 14 runs from three balls
Although he was jet-lagged, yet he managed to score 14 runs in three balls and helped his team Mumbai Indians to cross the line against Chennai Super Kings.
7. Hat-Tricks of Hat-Tricks by Mishra
Amit Mishra became the only person in the History of IPL to register a hat trick of hat tricks. He achieved this feat in the year 2013 where helped his team Sunrisers Hyderabad to clinch a win against Pune Warriors in a low scoring thriller.
